What’s new in 2026
The new year has only just arrived and we’re already looking all the way forward to the boating season, although here in Puerto Banus the weather is good enough that I can see some yachts out in the bay from our office window even now.
We’re already helping clients find their next yacht before the summer, secure that crucial mooring in their ideal marina, or hire the perfect captain for their yachting style. But in addition to the actual yachting there is a lot going on in 2026 with Pier Zero Yachts and we wanted to put together a short update on what we’ll be doing and the events you don’t want to miss.
The Boat Shows
As always Pier Zero Yachts will be present at the major European boat shows beginning this month at Dusseldorf boot, the world's largest yacht and watersports show, from the 17th to the 25th of January, as part of Azimut UK with an incredible range on display including the new Azimut 82 FLY.
After a short break we’ll be back again in Palma, Mallorca for the Palma International Boat Show, continuing a decade long tradition for our company. We’ll have a full carbon fibre Anvera on display on a stand with our partners from Mediterranean Yachts, and we’ll be back on the Azimut stand with another excellent line-up, from the 29th of April to the 2nd of May.
After the summer we’ll be heading to Cannes from the 8th - 13th of September, for what is undoubtedly the most important European boat show. Expect all the major shipyards to be bringing the majority of their range, as well as new launches from big and small shipyards alike. Pier Zero Yachts will be there on the Azimut, Anvera and now Omaya stand with a lot of very exciting new launches, to be seen in the next section.
Finally for the biggest shows in our own calendar, there is the Monaco Yacht Show from the 23rd to the 26th of September.
This is always a spectacular show focusing on yachts over 24m and their tenders/chase boats. Both Azimut and Benetti will be at the forefront again with the Grande range from Azimut and a variety of Benettis on display.
Outside of these major events (for us) we’ll also be aiming to attend the boatshows in Dubai (8th - 12th April), Genoa (14th - 18th October), and Fort Lauderdale (28th October - 1st November).
If you’re planning to attend any of these shows, please let us know, it’s always a pleasure to see familiar or new faces at boat shows for a tour around the very best new yachts on the market.
World Premieres
2026 looks like it will be an exceptional year for new models for both Azimut and Anvera.
Starting with Anvera, 2026 will see the launch of both the brand new Anvera 42 GT and Anvera 200S racing. The 42 GT is an outboard version of the very popular Anvera 42S, with all the key Anvera features - full carbon fibre hull, folding wings for an expansive beach area, rubber tubes, and the sleek Anvera style - plus all the benefits of outboard engines, and a top speed of 45 knots.
The Anvera 200S Racing on the other hand is at the other end of the Anvera range, the new flagship and something really different for the shipyard. Still all in carbon fibre, but at 20 meters there is now room for more than day boat/chase boat accommodation and the benefits of the folding wings will be felt more than ever. Not to mention the three configurations with top speeds of either 50, 60, or 70(!) knots. Anvera’s claim to be making something totally new, a ‘Hyperboat’ is not an exaggeration, the carbon fibre construction, incredible performance, and style are all at the very cutting edge of modern yachting.
Both of these we expect to see premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September, so keep an eye out and if they could be of interest, please don’t hesitate to get in touch as I’m sure that sea trial places will be going fast.
Azimut Premieres
From Azimut there are three big new models we’re looking forward to this year but there could be some surprises as well, as with last year’s 82 FLY.
The first is from an Azimut range which itself is only a couple of years old. Building on the success of the award winning Seadeck 6 and 7, 2026 will see the launch of the new flagship of the range the Seadeck 9. This combines the spectacular beach club area of the Seadeck series with a cockpit pool for what must be the most spectacular aft section in any yacht of this size. Combined with beautiful interiors from Mattheo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, the Seadeck 9 promises to be something truly special.
The second big Azimut launch is the Azimut Magellano 27M which is also launching the 3rd phase of Azimut’s timelessly elegant Magellano line. Based on the vision of Jarkko Jämsén for the exteriors and AMDL Circle for the interiors. The images we have so far are stunning and an evolution of the barefoot luxury philosophy which shaped the Grande 30M, in perhaps an even more appropriate setting of the long distance, slow living, luxurious comfort of the Magellano 27M.
Finally we have the Azimut Grande 44M, the largest yacht the Azimut shipyard have ever built. Everything we’ve seen of this yacht so far has been amazing (just look at the render to the right!) and we are very excited to see how the Grande DNA will fuse with Benetti expertise in the Azimut Grande 44M.
We expect all of these yachts to have their world premiere in September 2026.
If any of these models could be of interest please don’t hesitate to get in touch for more information, or for an exclusive early look in the shipyard.

How Pier Zero Yachts Is Raising the Standard in 2026
We’re always looking for ways to improve and the beginning of a new year is a useful inflection point to improve the service we can offer clients faster and more deliberately. We hear frequent stories, and see too many examples of buyers who have been burned by brokers who overpromise and underdeliver, who disappear the moment a deal closes, or who treat transparency as optional. Pier Zero Yachts was founded from a warranty and support standpoint first, and we've always tried to carry this mindset with us. This year, we're going further.
We've spent the past few months examining every aspect of how we work with clients, from initial enquiry through to years after a sale. The result is a renewed commitment to service that goes well beyond simply matching buyers with boats.
Smarter Market Intelligence
One of the most significant changes for us over the past few years is how much more access we have to good, large datasets from the yacht market generally. We've invested in better tools to track pricing trends, time-on-market statistics, and comparable sales across Spain and the wider Mediterranean. For sellers, this means realistic valuations from day one, not inflated figures designed to win a listing. For buyers, it means confidence that you're paying a fair price backed by evidence, not guesswork.
We'll be sharing more of this data directly with clients. If you're selling with us, you'll receive regular market updates showing how your yacht compares to similar listings, what's selling and at what prices, and honest feedback on positioning. We recognise that our clients are more familiar with their yachts than we could ever be, and the majority of them are experienced businesspeople as well. Sharing the data we have access to as professionals and having open discussions about your yacht is essential to make the best decisions about pricing, presentation, and timing. If the market is telling us something, you should hear it too.
We’re also investing in ways AI can help us process this data and give us a clearer understanding of improvements we can make. AI is clearly not a going to be applicable across universally in what we do, as finding the ideal yacht for our prospective clients is truly the work of human connection and understanding, but there are clearly areas that AI can help us improve our understanding, and speed up some of our processes to give us more time directly listening to and helping our clients.
Peace of Mind
Our main focus continues to be how we can help our clients to get the most out of their yachting, and we will continue to invest in and pursue this goal throughout 2026. Too many yacht owners find themselves abandoned after purchase, left to navigate moorings, crew, maintenance, and warranty issues on their own.
This year, we're building out our support services to help clients get more from their yachting. We're strengthening our relationships with marinas across the Costa del Sol to help secure the best berths. We're developing a network of trusted crew and maintenance providers we can recommend with confidence. And we're planning events that bring our clients together.
The Year Ahead
We know the yacht market faces challenges. Economic uncertainty and shifting buyer expectations mean brokers need to work harder and smarter than ever. Our response is to double down on what we believe matters: expertise, honesty, and genuine service that extends beyond the sale.
If you're considering buying or selling a yacht in Spain, or simply want to talk through your options, we'd welcome the conversation. Drop by our office in Puerto Banús, or get in touch through our website. We're here to help.
